For this post I am going to be telling you about Nestlé. Nestlé first began in 1867 by Henri Nestlé in Switzerland. He started by making milk for babies who were unable to be breast fed. Nestlé opened its first factory in the UK in 1901 and joined companies with Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company in 1905. Due to the milk and chocolate being a success, Nestlé released its own coffee, Nescafé in1939 and turned out to be a big hit as it was much easier to make than other coffees. Nestlé continued to join with other companies up until the 1980s, when they bought also bought Rowntree's, who originally made some of Nestlé's most famous products, Kit Kat, Smarties, Aero and more. One of the most iconic things about Nestlé is the logo, which originates from the meaning of Nestlé in German "Little Nest". The logo has undergone minor changes but is still very recognisable.
